Limited Lawn Watering Approved

The City of Rock Valley has received approval to bring Well #4 back online after passing the required bacterial testing. The City will now have three of their five wells back online.
With the added well the City is approving limited lawn watering for all water customers. The City is limiting the lawn watering to ensure there is an ample supply of water for public health and emergency purposes.
The following lawn irrigation schedule shall apply to all irrigations systems:
- Do not water your lawns on Sundays.
- If your property is east of Main Street, you may water your lawn on Mondays – Wednesdays – Fridays before 5:00 AM and after 9:00 PM.
- If your property is west of Main Street, you may water your lawn on Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays before 5:00 AM and after 9:00 PM.
The limited lawn watering schedule shall remain in effect until further notice.
The City is grateful for all the work that was done by the City Crew and Thein Well Company in getting the water supply back online.
La ciudad de Rock Valley ha recibido aprobación para volver a activar el pozo número cuatro después de pasar el análisis requerido por bacterias. La ciudad ahora tendrá 3 de sus 5 pozos activados.
Con este pozo adicional, la ciudad ha aprobado riego limitado de césped para todos los clientes de agua. La ciudad limitará el riego de césped para asegurar que haya suministro abundante de agua por motivos de salud pública y emergencias.
El siguiente horario de riego de césped aplicará a todos los sistemas de riego:

- Si su propiedad queda al lado este de la calle Main, se puede regar el césped el lunes – miércoles – viernes antes de las 5:00 AM y después de las 9:00 PM.
- Si su propiedad queda al lado oeste de la calle Main se puede regar el césped los días martes – jueves - sábado antes de las 5:00 AM y después de las 9:00 PM.
