Bills can be paid in a variety of ways. You can mail it in, place it in the City dropbox, or stop by in person. We also offer automatic withdrawal and online payment options.
To sign up for automatic withdrawal, please download the form below, and return it to the City Office with a voided check. You can view current utility rates. For questions, call the city office at 712-476-5707.
Bills are sent out on two different cycles. The first cycle's bill is sent out on the 1st of the month and is usually due around the 22nd of the month. The second cycle's bills are sent out on the 15th of the month and are typically due around the 5th of the month.
Have you recently moved to town? First of all, welcome to our city! If you've recently moved into a house in Rock Valley, you will need to set your utilities. To set up utilities, you will need to submit a completed Utilities Application form, a copy of your ID, and a $100 deposit to the City Office.
Please note: this needs to be completed before you move in.

If you've recently moved away from Rock Valley, be sure to notify the City Office. They will need the date you plan to move and a forwarding address so they can send the final bill or any remaining credit.
The City of Rock Valley bills utilities a month in advance and adjusts for water usage. The first utility bill after moving will be higher than normal as it includes the current month and the following month. If you have additional questions, please contact the City Office.
