Legal Notice for Disposal of City Property

The residential lot located at 708 18th Place and the commercial structure located at 2222 14th Street are surplus property and the City of Council of the City of Rock Valley authorizes the sale of these properties through a public auction.

The public auction shall be opened on December 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM at https://zomercompany.com/site/auctions/

The auction shall be open to the public, and all eligible bidders shall be invited to participate.

The successful bidder for the commercial structure shall be responsible for all costs and logistics associated with its removal from the current location. The structure must be removed within ninety days of the auction, subject to compliance with all applicable laws, permits, and regulations.

o The properties shall be sold "as-is, where-is," with no warranties or guarantees of any kind.

o Payment terms and any deposit requirements shall be detailed in the auction notice.

o The City of Rock Valley reserves the right to reject any and all bids if deemed in the best interest of the public.
