Spring Clean-up Days in Rock Valley
In an effort to keep our town clean, the City of Rock Valley will once again be sponsoring a clean-up day for RESIDENTS of the City. Waste from non-residents and commercial waste is not permitted. Residents who accept waste from non-residents or commercial will will NOT have their items picked up.

Cyclone Club - Sioux County
On Tuesday, June 10th the newly formed Sioux County Cyclone Club is hosting an Cyclone Club event for youth 10 and older at the Lone Lines Center in Sioux City from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. Iowa Sate University athletes, cheerleaders and coaches will be on had for fun and games.

Youth Horse Clinic
Young people with an interest in horses are invited to attend the Youth and Horses Clinic being put on by Iowa State University Extension in Woodbury County. The clinic is open to all youth in fourth through twelfth grades and is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Woodbury County Fairgrounds, Fair St. in Moville, Iowa.

Letter Carriers Food Drive
Rock Valley Postal Carriers will be picking up food on Saturday, May 10th. Items will be given to Love INC's food pantry. Love Inc. won't take any perishable or canned foods. Love Inc. is in need of the following items: peanut butter, jelly, fruit juice, canned meat, cereal, paper products, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning products, laundry detergent, and dish soap.

Disaster Brings Out Volunteers In Rock Valley
A tornado in Rock Valley, Iowa left a path of destruction on the southern edge of town, and even though not every home and business received damage, it was certainly felt by everyone in the area.
